At least once in our lives, we should drive and park right on the beach with the Atlantic surf in our ears. Over 1000 parking spaces are available inside the garage, which also houses an intermodal transfer station for VoTran. The fastest route is typically via I-4 East toward Daytona Beach, with connections to I-95 and US-92and then onto the beachside. Daytona Beach is 55 miles south of St. Augustine and 57 miles northeast of Orlando. The catches of the day await at a waterfront restaurant.

Families love Daytona Beach for its blend of outdoor fun and educational attractions. There is a small fee for vehicle access, and annual passes are available for frequent visitors. The Bandshell is located at the north end of the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, so plan your visit to coincide with the time you want to enjoy the boardwalk to get both done at once. For those wanting to drive, you can even park on the beach in certain areas from sunrise to sunset each day—but it’s dependent on the tidal conditions.
